  1. Butter sides of a 2 qt. saucepan.
  2.    
  3. Combine above ingredients and cook over medium high heat. Stir constantly. Avoid splashing liquid on pan.
  4.    
  5. Clip candy thermometer to pan on medium to 234 degrees.
  6.    
  7. Mix should boil and meet soft stage in 18 to 20 minutes.
  8.    
  9. Remove pan from heat.
  10.
